“I am extremely disappointed in m...”

I am extremely disappointed in my visit with Dr. Hanson. I told her that I had been dealing with very serious GI issues for 4 weeks at the time of my visit and her response was bloodwork and an Xray. She thought that I might be constipated, which would ordinarily be okay, except for the amount of blood that I am experiencing with bowel movements. She did not leave me with a proposed plan of action, just to get the tests done that she ordered. I followed up with her several times via the patient portal and was very disappointed in her response time AND her response when I asked her for a referral to GI. I have made myself an appointment OUTSIDE Geisinger to see GI because I did not receive the level of care that I expect from a "world class medical system".
