Dr Nguyen was very pleasant, patient, took the time to explain the proposed surgery means vs the usual surgery including showing video of the Da Vinci instruments he would be using. He was concerned about my deep concern about sexual function after surgery.He asked me to consider radiation . He also was not pleased with the Neurology documentation and out of concern for stroke during surgery when off Plavix he requested a competent Neurology consult from UCSF team. He referred me to Radiation oncology to visit with them and discuss procedures.

After the procedure, I was told quickly about post care. I was told I would receive that in my chart or have it printed out. I said I didn't want to waste the paper and I'm very familiar with mychart, but the instructions were not in my chart, I left Friday afternoon and it wasn't until Monday morning That they were open and I could phone and get my aftercare instructions. Would've saved me a lot of stress and potential problems if I received that after my visit.
