“A Grateful Journey with Dr. Appelboom and Team - Helped me get my life back!”

Dr. Appelboom is an A+ surgeon, and I would choose him again without hesitation. From our very first visit, he truly listened to my concerns with genuine empathy and thoroughly explained his recommendations for my ACDF procedure, ensuring I understood every aspect of the treatment.

Johanna and Brigette—are incredible, efficient, and empathetic. I couldn't have asked for a better team for my surgery—thank you for your compassion and professionalism; you’ve greatly impacted my recovery!

“Dr. Appelboom and his Team are the Absolute Best!!”

Dr. Appelboom and his team are the absolute best. I had emergency spine surgery on my neck and Dr.Appelboom and his team made it through a snowstorm to due the surgery and save the use of my right hand/arm. A wonderfully talented surgeon, Dr. Appelboom is very kind and considerate, and is the consummate professional. Johanna Mejia, his assistant is wonderful! I would recommend Dr. Appelboom to anyone who is experiencing any kind of neurological problem requiring intervention especially surgery.

“Great surgeon, great staff!”

I met with Dr. Appelbloom to discuss 2 major issues with my back; a meningioma in my thoracic spine and spinal stenosis in my lumbar spine which contributed to chronic sciatica. Dr. Appelbloom operated two times, both successfully. Dr. Appelbloom is warm and friendly and listened carefully to my needs and concerns. He recommended the best solutions to the problems and I experienced a very successful outcome. Also, his office staff, especially Johanna Mejia, is extremely helpful and responsive!!

“Exceptional Neurosurgeon”

Dr. Appelboom was exceptional. He took time to explain everything to myself and my husband. He gave us all the options and allowed us to make our decision. I was very nervous to have this procedure, but Dr. Appelboom is an excellent neurosurgeon and his knowledge and patience, plus his bedside manner is truly amazing. For my follow up after surgery, he was so kind and answered all my questions and explained the results of my biopsy and removed my staples himself. He truly is a caring Dr.

“Superior Neurosurgeon”

Dr. Appelboom is incredible surgeon! His medical knowledge and willingness to listen and discuss is stellar. It was so, so refreshing that Dr. Appelboom combines mastery of his field of expertise and the ability to create a great rapport with his patients. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Additionally, his staff was always helpful and kind. They ensured I had a smooth prep, surgery, and follow-up!

“Dr Appelboom was terrific!”

When I was told I could not see my orthopedic surgeon due to the fact that my insurance changed after the 1st of the year, I had to find a new surgeon rather quickly and that's a daunting experience when you've come to trust someone else. I asked the orthopedic surgeon who he recommended and was told he worked many times with Dr Appelboom. I felt very comfortable upon meeting him and was glad I made my decision because he was more than confident he could correct what I needed to have done. 10+

“I want start saying my English is not perfect being born outside it the US but in my 69 years of age never visited a neurosurgeon with the quality Carisma, personality and dedicated to his patients . Dr GEOFF APPELBOOM”

I want to start saying my English is not very good , yet I want to share my experience with the people that maybe are suffering with neck issues like me.: I visited Dr GEOFF APPELBOOM at end of December told him me loosing balance, cramping and tingling in both hands that coudnt even open a bottle of water. terrible pain Neck, arm & shoulder Immediately He made me priority for surgery. a few days after I can feel improvement. He is indeed a good Neurosurgeon and such a sweet gentleman .

“From the first moment I met Dr. Geoff Appelboom, I knew I was in good hands”

When I started experiencing issues with tingling and numbness in my right leg and foot from Spinal Stenosis, I immediately started researching different neurosurgeons. Based on his bio and patient reviews I chose Dr. Appelboom. He is a highly skilled neurosurgeon whose manners made a lasting impression; from the moment he came out to the waiting room to greet me and shake my hand, to not feeling rushed, he treated me like I was guest in his house. I never felt so relaxed around a doctor.

“Dr. Appelboom is caring and his team is fantastic.”

Dr. Geoff Appelboom is one of the best listeners I have met in my life. I never felt rushed in his office. He took the time to listen to my story. I had a cervical discectomy and fusion on discs C5/C6 on September 14th, 2022. His surgical team were friendly, professional, and reassuring. Dr. Appelboom has the knowledge/education, experience/skills, and a fantastic bedside manor. I'm currently recovering from my operation. However, I am extremely grateful to his entire, staff, team and to him.
