I strive get to know each family so they feel comfortable working with me. I spend time answering their questions and learning about their lives, not just in the NICU. I like to involve parents in hospital rounds and NICU care. I am a big believer in making them part of the team, as parent and family support leads to the best outcomes for our patients.
