I can't say enough about having my veneers done. The whole experience was great from start to finish! Dr Shuman and his staff are so friendly and wonderful and my veneers are perfect. I've had them for about 2 years now and they have changed my life. I like the way I look in photos now and feel more confident smiling. I even feel better about going outdoors without makeup now! ha. I haven't had a single issue with them and I am so happy I did it. It is WELL worth the investment!

And he was very nice and called me a perscription right away.One of the best dentist in Saint Louis. My dad is 90 and is going to him as well. I broke a tooth where my previous dentist had overfilled my cavity. It hurt and looked awful. Dr. Schuman's staff fit me in and an hour later I was a changed man! He used the most incredible technology to mill a new partial tooth from a 3-D printer...it was incredible. It felt like something out of the future!

“One very freak accident has changed my view on Dentist's forever!”

On May 2, 2017 I was in a big hurry to mow the yard during a rare break in the rain. While mowing the back yard I got a plastic dog rope wrapped around the blade of the mower. I tried to tip the mower on it's end against the deck to avoid the oil and gas spilling out and in the process the mower handle hit me near my chin. My tongue was in between my teeth and I bit down. All I felt was numbness so I finished mowing.
It was then I felt warmth in my mouth and saw blood all over my clothes and hair.
I returned to the house and tried for hours to stop the bleeding to no avail.
Since Dr. Schuman gives his patients his own cell number for emergencies I sent a photo of the gash in my tongue and asked him what I could do to stop the bleeding.
Within five minutes I received a text message from Dr. Schuman saying he was sorry, that I needed a stitch and where could he come to stitch it.
I told him I would meet him at his dental office.
I was honestly terrified. A stitch in the tongue?
He was already waiting for me when I arrived. I was shaking and very scared when I got in the chair. He made pleasant conversation and prepared me for the stitches.
I braced for the worst when he pulled out my tongue with a gauze pad and prepared for the numbing shot. I felt one small stick and honestly nothing else.
He put three dissolving stitches in my tongue, prescribed me antibiotic and special mouth rinse to keep infection away and I was done!
I later found out that he was out eating dinner with a colleague when my text came through.
How many Dentists do you know willing to give up an evening for patient?
Dr. Schuman is not only a spectacular Dentist he is an amazing human being.
I will never see another Dentist.
