I have learned early on my career that the diagnosis of a disease is just the beginning. This is indeed important when it comes to understanding the individual needs of persons living with HIV. I am committed to the care of my patients and the improvement of their well being as whole person.{line break}As a member of the UC San Diego faculty, I like to focus on designing and implementing clinical programs and trials that help to enhance the care of patients living with HIV. For this reason I have participated in the re-organization of our Hepatitis C clinic for HIV individuals at UC San Diego.
