“Arrogant prick!”
My first visit with him, I asked, "If a person took Omeprazole for 3 years, might he develop any harmful side-effects?" He replied, "No, none at all." WRONG!!! It says right on the info sheet they send with the prescription that taking it for more than a year can cause osteporosis. It says one should take as little as possible, for as short a time as possible, preferably less than 4 months. I had only just learned this, and wanted to see if he knew it. He didn't! This did not give me confidence in him.
Was in pain yesterday, a different issue, and wanted him to pull up an X-ray and radiologist report, so we could find out cause of the pain. He REFUSED! He wanted to "be in control" of the situation, and conduct a physical exam, with underwear down. As that was entirely unnecessary, I refused. I would not give up my dignity and modesty to a prick who refused to listen, refused to even look at me in the eye, and would not look at the X-rays. My impression is that he is very arrogant, and disrespectful to a Veteran. I will NOT see him again, for any reason.
