My wife and I recently moved to the Greencastle area from Waynesboro, I was looking for another primary care physician, I noted Dr Barnhart was accepting new patients. My wife was with me during my first visit with Dr Barnhart, My wife and I found him to be an excellent physician, very knowledgeable and asked many question about my health concerns, He also found Issues with one of my medications.

He deals with me as a whole person, not just a patient with physiological concerns. He is patient; he listens. He's thoroughly familiar with my chart.

I am treated as a whole person, not just one who presents with health concerns. We do not chit-chat, but if I raise a nonmedical issue, my provider will listen to me courteously and respond appropriately. I very much appreciate my provider's addressing me by my given name and looking me in the eyes when we converse.
