Dr. Ransom has four grown children and three granddaughters. In her spare time, Dr. Ransom founded the International Partnership for Reproductive Health. A 501c3 nonprofit with a focus on cervical cancer screening in Ethiopia. She enjoys gardening, cooking and reading good books. She also is writing a book based on her experiences as an OBGYN.
