“Very good surgeon”
I had to have surgery to repair a tear in my right shoulder rotator cuff. He did a great job and has been very good with all my follow up appointments with him. He is very understanding that I can't go back to work because I lost so much sleep over the 7 months after the surgery and I can barely stay awake during the day. I have passed out 3 times and my job has me driving from 8 AM to after 8:30 PM and driving all day makes me very tired.
“Very Poor Experience, Would Not Recommend to Anyone”
I found the office staff to be extremely unprofessional and rude. They told me one thing on the phone, and in person told me something else. When I pointed out that I brought what they and my PCP told me to bring, they called me names and lectured me on how I am responsible to know what to bring. When I became upset, they lectured me on the "appropriate" and "acceptable" voice level to use in their office and how to treat their employees, then told me they have a "zero tolerance" policy and threatened to have me escorted off the premises. I left to obtain the proper paperwork from my PCP, and returned shortly with it. The woman at the front desk ignored me. I had to stand directly in front of her to get her to acknowledge me and even then she rudely asked me what I wanted. When I told her I wanted to finish the registration process, she told me someone would be out soon to see me. I waited and when the woman finally came out, she told me that because of their zero tolerance policy I would not be accepted as a patient. I waited three weeks for this appointment. It's for a consultation on a shattered ankle that has 2 plates, 9 screws in it and is exhibiting enough swelling and pain to make it impossible to walk about 50% of the time. I would never recommend this office to anyone. My experience with it was abuse, lies, and no treatment. Don't waste your time.

“Knowledgable, Considerate, and Overall great Surgeon!”
Very satisfied with the Dr. Avallone and how he diagnosed my injury and talked me through the surgery and recovery process.
“Great surgeon”
I was very pleased with the care Dr. Avallone gave my family. He has an excellent bedside manner and seems to take a genuine interest in helping his patients get better.Original review on DoctorsDig.com
