He is professional and helpful, with only one little exception- I asked him to add an A1c to my blood tests and he said he would but apparently forgot or decided it wasn’t appropriate, and he may be right— I don’t think A1c has anything to do with my kidneys so it’s not really his area, and my primary-care doc will have it measured next week.

One of the medications I take for Parkinson's (Amantadine) has the side effect of raising serum-creatinine, which creates a false-alarm for kidney disease. Just for safety he ordered some scans, and explained why he was ordering each one.
