“The Provider was knowledgeable b...”
The Provider was knowledgeable but rudely stopped my input when I wanted to provide what I considered pertinent information. I have dealt with my headaches for almost 60 years and had waited almost 6 months for this appointment. He said he had certain questions he needed to ask. I was told the appointment would be an hour. He called me ten minutes late and after 20 minutes kept looking up at what seemed to be a clock. I had difficulty connecting on my IPad because the meeting information was not provided or the Password when I went to log in. As a result I had to use my laptop and he kept asking me to reposition it so he could do Neuro checks and a walk. An in person visit would have been more appropriate. I have several video appointments and never had any issues before. He summarized what he felt I was experiencing and did ask if I agreed. He offered 3 different options for prevention of the migraines and 2 options for treatment if the migraines were severe. He did not describe any of the options but deferred the discussion and selection to my PCP. Since he is the expert I would have preferred a discussion or recommendation for one of the options to try first.
