“We left confused and frustrated”
We had 4 missed miscarriages & we're expecting again. Based on LMP I am 6w2d, but the US showed a gestational and a yolk sac measuring 6w0d, no heartbeat. Dr. Atkinson was very unclear in delivering her message. She basically said that she still considers this a viable pregnancy (even if there is no heartbeat) as it's measuring on time and I should come back at 12 weeks. Despite this, her notes say I need to follow up with my OB for a possible miscarriage. We feel so confused and frustrated!
