I started seeing Dr Schnapp years ago for my inflammatory disease. He was very caring and listened to me explain my issues which I had not found in any other doctor. I had been treated wrong for years on cancer meds and malaria meds and such. He treated my pain so I was able to keep my grandchilren! I could pick them up again! The first appt day was not sure would keep appt....They had a bomb scare and the building was being searched when I arrived! It thankfully was a prank!!!!

Dr. Schnapp Mar. 2, 2023 Dr Schnapp’s is very attentive, always listens, and explains in common language with drawings. He's also a little humorous which in fact makes your visit more comfortable since you're already in pain. I highly recommend him to others because of his caring attitude and great bedside manners.

I trust Dr. Snapps with all my pain issues I just don’t like the fact that after forming a trusting relationship with him without notifying me I was changed over to a NP . The NP basically acted like all my issues were minor and not too concerning which is opposite of what Dr. Snapps explained to myself and my husband! This has caused me to loose my faith and trust in my care. My pain is real and the NP compares my pain with others and how I should be feeling. We all handle pain differently.

I love my doctors here, Schnapp and Scarbrough, but I'm having trouble getting my prescriptions in a timely manner, even for a laxative, because a note stating, "Don't fill until a certain date" keeps getting added to my prescriptions which puts them past their refill date. The pharmacy tells me I have to call the doctor's office when I'm already there to pick it up, but all I can do is leave a message for the nurse which creates a huge inconvenience for me since I live miles away.

In all my years of needing pain management for my disease. This was the first time a doctor asked me how my chronic pain was making me feel mentally. It almost made me cry from the shock of a doctor actually knowing that to treat my pain you have to also treat both! I left the office feeling hopeful, less stressed and confident that I was going to get the best care here. The anxiety that comes along with chronic pain can be more debilitating then your physical pain at times.

Dr. Schnapp and Kristen Wilson are my Doctor and FNP. I saw Kristen on September 9, 2022. She was caring and compassionate. I’m 71 with this chronic pain. I also told her about another health problem, and my difficulties getting an appointment with an endocrinologist. She was helpful and had excellent suggestions. Not only did she explain that issue, but she was great helping me with chronic pain and fall prevention. Dr. Schnapp is delightful as well.

For 18 years (yes, 18 yrs!) Mays & Schnapp has kept me mostly out of pain without over-dosing. They are extremely careful, and regimental about the care they provide to patients. At least that's my experience! Every year they seem to win the award from Memphis and surrounding areas as the best Spine Clinic in the Mid-South. There's a good reason for that. Their leadership inculcates an atmosphere of "patient first" among the staff and all physicians.

Suzanne is one of the nurse practitioners at the Mays and Schnapp offices on Walnut Grove. I've been going there for well over a decade and couldn't imagine receiving more personal care than I get there. Their knowledge of chronic pain, and procedures to alleviate pain are unending. I’ve been suffering in silence with this invisible autoimmune disorder scleroderma and mixed connective tissue since 2016. Suffering mentally, socially, and emotionally. With the same mandates of antiquated methodologies. My visit with Dr. Schnapp and his team was extremely knowledgeable and considerate of what I’ve been suffering from. In fact because scleroderma is uncommon many physicians failed to treat my needs. They should be leading the current strategic treatment for SS globally.

In an age of terrible customer service in almost every industry, it was very nice to receive the professional service today. Fast check in, quickly taken to exam room, timely visit by Dr. Schnapp. Very lengthy exam with many questions. Most doctors are in the room for just a brief minute. I’ve had chronic pain since 2019. One visit with Dr Schnapp my pain level was a 10. With the medicine Dr Schnapp gave me it cut it in half. My visit today my medicine will require more for the pain. Considering 2019 I would cry constantly afraid I would have to live in chronic pain. I’m definitely improving. Dr Schnapp is a excellent Dr. He’s filled with knowledge compassion support encouragement and a genuine concern to get me better. Because of that I will only request him for my appointment’.

Dr Schnapp gave me my life back! I could not bear the pain in my feet from neuropathy. He treated me and pain left. He is awesome. I have been his patient since 2004 I believe and he has my trust completely.

Dr. Schnapps was awesome!! Words can not express the kindness that was shown to me by him. He had great bedside manners. He took the time to make sure I understood what my problem was and the medical help that was available for me. At the end of my visit I was overwhelmed with tears of joy just because he showed an interest and was a human being taking the time to appreciate me coming to his office. I must say he is a special physician!!!
