“I've been a patient of Dr. Ashto...”

I've been a patient of Dr. Ashton for about 10 years and have always been satisfied with his care. However, I don't think he took my concerns about chronic oral thrush seriously and offered little guidance on how I should manage this problem. I previously asked if a nutritionist could help me manage my diet, but that was blown off. This is the 4th time that I've dealt with this condition and frustrated by the lack of concern. I just don't think he listened to me at this visit.

“This visit and everyone associat...”

This visit and everyone associated with it was wonderful. I wish I could say that for the rest of my Geisinger experience, I typically get people who stop listening to me mid appointments. It has gotten to the point where I only trust Dr. Ashton at Geisinger. I have gone to other departments where I'm either an object or inconvenience to the professional, I'm seeing within Geisinger. Nothing is ever heard when I provide feedback about these things and situations as described have become more frequent.I want to clarify that this visit and every visit with Dr. Ashton is an exception to these bad experiences as he has shown me throughout the years, he cares and so does his supporting staff. Please Geisinger make changes and get more people like them.
