“Awesome Experience - As Awesome as a Surgeon Can Be :-)”
I was referred to Jump by my Primary Care Doc. I have had both a pilonidal cyst and uterine cyst for YEARS. I finally decided to do something about it - despite the negative press all over the internet. Dr. Jump was knowledgeable, through in his explanation / description of the procedure and patient as I asked dozens of questions.
Now that the procedure is done, I wish I had done it before - Jump closed the incision (as he said he would - despite the trend for some doctors to leave the wound open), so the healing has been only slightly uncomfortable. The incision and stitches are clean - which means I should have a full recovery and only a moderate scar.
Some patients in online forums complain of infection after a few days. I have not had that experience (knock on wood). Assuming I am not online posting anything negative soon, assume all is well. I recommend Dr. Jump. And if you are in Columbus and experiencing Pilonidal Disease, I recommend you call him and just do it.
