The doctor told me that I could no longer be at her practice because I missed 2 appointments. I explained while crying that I was going through a divorce, had 2 young kids, had a new job and my dad had stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Her answer was "well there is nothing they can do once someone gets pancreatic cancer but at least those affected don't suffer long." A cold and heartless thing to say to a customer who is clearly going through a lot. I felt it was cold and the lack of sensitivity was very concerning.
