“A doctor's doctor. Now I know why.”
I have heard about Dr. Calkins from a few friends and now my doctor has called him for a phone consult.
I cant thank him enough for taking the time to help me. I now have to have a procedure but I know I will be in great hands.
I made an appointment with Dr. Calkins because I was experiencing frequent episodes of Atrial Fibrillation which was interfering with my need for an active life-style. Dr. Calkins fixed the problem with a catheter ablation 3 years ago. I have been able to resume strenuous activity, including training for and participating in cycling time trial events, including taking an age-group medal in a state championship event. Everything about him is first class - his medical expertise, clinical effectiveness, patient interactions, accessibility through emails and genuine caring for his patients.
