The only comment I have would be about the actual hysterectomy. I had major nausea and vomiting (for 15 hours) after this procedure plus pain from the gas used during the procedure (for 3 days). I don't believe either one of these were really discussed as problems I would encounter. While I was going through this, my husband found out that this type of surgery is well known for having these issues. I think all patients should be Informed about these two side effects, and I think medicine for nausea and vomiting should be prescribed. I would have preferred it over the oxycodone.
