I am in my mid forty's. On my first visit to Dr. Allen, I found her to be kind, gentle and EXTREMELY thorough in both her preliminary questions to me and to her exam. While just a routine annual gyn exam, since this was first time with her, she took time with me to get to know me, kept eye contact, and made sure she did not miss anything. I have had a full hysterectomy in past, and could have been in and out easily, but I had some questions re: why another dr. had done other exam I felt unnecessary, and she took time to explain her opinion. She respected decisions on treatments I am taking by other doctors on HRT, and offered advise, if asked. She was on time and very easy to talk to. Her staff and office were very nice. Everything was clean and soothing. I would highly recommend.
