He was patient and listened to all my complaints and history of working on myself for 5 years. He was open to collaborating with me on the treatment needed. I can finally tighten my buttocks muscles without knife pain in my groin and hip area. and can walk without searing knife pain. He palpated the tissue that no other MD would do for 5 years of unneeded suffering.. More MD's should listen to their patients like Dr. Panero, and learn the art of palpation. He explained the precautions and the procedure well.. I am so grateful to have found him so that I can now strengthen and get back to work.

I should note I was referred to Dr Panero by an orthopedic surgeon at UC Davis. I originally received PRP injections in my elbow in January 2020. It worked great and I returned to golfing in late April, however several weeks later I ruined my progress by over working my elbow in a landscape project. In November I received a more aggressive treatment of stem cell injections. Now, my elbow is brand new and I’ve once again returned to golf. That’s my passion. During both procedures and recovery Dr. Panero was very professional and highly competent. I had lots of questions and he had even more answers. He described the treatment options and procedures and left me confident and excited to get started. I’m very thankful to Dr. Panero and his assistant Sabrina.

Dr. Panero was referred to me for my severe knee pain due to arthritis caused by over exercising. He gave me fluid supplementation and amniotic therapy. He avoids Cortisone shot for pain relief, and I really appreciate that because I for one do not like Cortisone shot due to bad side effects; unless there's no other therapies. Along with these therapies, he referred me to a very good and efficient Physical Therapy Clinic for 2 months to meet 2 x a week. After I completed my physical therapy, I initiated self-massage for pain management. He recommended Voltaren along with my self-massage therapy. Now, I am almost pain free. I highly recommend Dr. Panero to anyone who has similar problem with mine. If I had not seen Dr. Panero, I might have resulted to knee surgery.

I came into the PRP experience with pain 24/7 and was at my wits end. Dr. Panero explained that with this treatment it was like starting over with my therapy but the outcome was going to be more positive. The PRP was going to facilitate healing faster than my body could do on its own but it would take some time to get there. I had done a little research and after my initial consultation was ready to move forward with in hopes to get back on the court sometime in the near future. The pain of the injection (24 hours after) is no joke but after 2 weeks or so I could tell that it had helped. I no longer had that 24 hour a day pain that was so exhausting. I remain optimistic as I continue rehab and look forward to playing tennis again sometime in the next 3 months or so.

I have had some many years of pain on my shoulder but after having an MRI and seeing how much calcification I had on my shoulder the next step was to consider surgery or a procedure to get rid of as much of the calcification as possible, I have never in a very long time not felt any relief as I do now, Dr. Panero has been an amazing and very thorough doctor, he explained in detail about the procedure and after the follow up appointments were also very good. I started Physical Therapy and as instructed I've followed the exercises in order to see and feel improvement. Both Dr. Panero and I feel really good about the way my arm is healing but how much better it actually moves. I'm looking forward a full recovery soon. Dr. Panero did a thorough evaluation and identified a problem area in the Soleus Muscle. None of the other physicians that I went to about this ongoing problem noted the irregularity. He recommended PRP treatments. As evidenced by the pre- and post procedure ultrasounds, new tissue has developed and movement within my Achilles Tendon continues to improve...I am almost back to my old routine - My sincere appreciation to Dr Panero.

He never is in a hurry and takes the time to talk to you and is interested in your situation and what is causing your discomfort. He thinks outside the box and finds solutions to problems that were missed by other doctors! Being a woman in my 70's, perhaps I have a unique perspective of Dr.Panero's wide range of expertise. Over the years he has treated me successfully for fibromyalgia related, bunched up muscle pain in my shoulder and neck with Botox! Brilliant! Now 80 years of age, months after suffering a fall that fractured my shoulder, he has diagnosed my persistent symptoms of dizziness, imbalance, vision changes and gastronomical pain as Post-Concussion Vertigo/Syndrome and has referred me to an Impact Trained DPT-Post-Concussion Therapist. Dr. Panero is a clinically skilled and expert treating M.D. The procedures he has done, to help me with extreme hip pain, have been a positive life altering event.
