“Dr. Bower is an excellent doctor...”

Dr. Bower is an excellent doctor. Unfortunately for me, he is retiring, and what I am worried about is the fact that I was assigned an NP, not a doctor, to be my primary care provider from now on. I'm 56 and my health will only deteriorate, so I hope Wellspan can assign a doctor, not a nurse, to be my primary care physician.
