“Dr. David Hoffman saved my life....”

Dr. David Hoffman saved my life. I am a nurse at UCLA and was diagnosed with advanced lung cancer in 2013. UCLA declared me inoperable and gave me 2 months to live. I ran to Cedars and saw Dr. Hoffman who started me same day on chemotherapy. He arranged my lung biopsies, total lung removal, and ongoing chemo and immunotherapy. Now 13 years later, I'm doing really well, still working as a nurse, and swimming 4x week.

Dr. Hoffman is An extremely collaborative physician. He does not dictate what to do. Instead he informs, discusses, and then we make a decision together. There are not many physicians like him!
