The doctor was reluctant to discuss my health concerns that were within her scope of hematology. I've been with this provider for years. Her demeanor has completely changed over that time (a far cry from what you see in the video of her on her Cedars profile). If you look closely, all of her bad reviews start in 2025. If I had to guess, I'd say it's end-stage burnout. I'd much rather temporarily lose access to this provider for her to take care of herself than keep meeting with a provider who shows zero empathy. Dr. El-Masry is truly brilliant and very thorough. However, without empathy and the ability to respectfully listen to patients it's not particularly helpful.
