I scheduled this visit as a 2nd opinion given the extensive revision surgery I am facing. I think that Dr. Hanson did a great job of explaining some things that were not clear to me. He is a "low-key" gentleman with a strong sense of experience, common sense and confidence. He gave me hope that I may not have to face what could be a debilitating surgery.

I was very impressed with Dr. Darrell Hanson. His bedside manners are excellent. His honesty and empathy made me feel at ease because I saw how he took his time seeing the Images I had taken with me. He took his time explaining my condition (scoliosis), the options, the risks and benefits of surgery. Furthermore, he recommended I take care of other conditions prior to even consider surgery. He is a surgeon and he did not jump to plan a surgery. Instead, he educated me on how the pain I had was more related to other conditions, than the scoliosis itself. He made recommendations and plans to see me back in a year to see the progression of the scoliosis and the level of pain I am currently experiencing. If I need surgery in the future there is no one I would rather have than Dr. Hanson. I would highly recommend him, his staff, and the clinic.
