Provider was precise in answering my concerns and questions. Asked me if I was comfortable to have someone as a scribe. It was easier for me this time as the scribe did not have their camera on. I felt less self-conscious.

“Honestly, I thought I scheduled ...”

Honestly, I thought I scheduled the wrong appointment because I was not expecting the procedure to take place, the camera through the nose. The nurse gave me a heads up so I was able to calm my nerves. The care provider asked me questions on what I want out of my voice and honestly I was not sure how to answer, I just want to fit in and be seen as a woman during speech. The experiment with trying things with my voice was super fun, I can see that my voice is able to produce sounds that are closer to my goal.
