I am 22 years old and have spent the last 3 years in and out of the hospital for multiple conditions. I have meet some wonderful doctors and some horrible doctors, but Barbara is one of the best! Not only is she extremely knowledgeable in her field, she is extremely invested in her patients well being. Every time I see her she remembers everything! Often when you see a doctor you have to recap everything you've already told her, but she remembers everything down to my boyfriends name and my college major! She doesn't turn you away, she understands that every patient deserves the same consideration no matter what ailment they are battling. When I was very sick and doing pretty bad emotionally, she met with me EVERY WEEK to check up and work extensively to get my life back to normal. You leave her office knowing exactly what you need to do and where your treatment is going. You wont feel alone. I am blessed to have found a doctor whom I can trust and rely on. When things get tough, she is there. She is the picture of what the health profession SHOULD be! She also is always available via email which is SO helpful when I have a question.
