“The doctor initially didn't see ...”

The doctor initially didn't see my prolapse by looking as I laid on the side. He was going to let it go at that, but I insisted he see it since surgery on the prolapse is going to be done. So, he agreed to look at it with a mirror as I sat on the toilet. I think it should have been done automatically without me asking for it.
