Dr. Kouri seems like an excellent surgeon. After PT, nerve test and discussion, Dr. Kouri did not recommend surgery for me at this time. Recommended I see a foot/ankle specialist.

The caregiver doctor was polite and very focused on the issues of my pain, discomfort and anxiety expressed by the patient (myself). He explained clearly what available options exist. And, how surgery could help restore back my normal life without complications and/or pain. He shared statistics of patients who went through surgery in similar conditions. The doctor also explained the possibility that all results may not be 100% up to my expectations. He made me feel comfortable and there was a good chance of that the surgery would be successful.
