“My child and I thought Dr. Weind...”
My child and I thought Dr. Weindl bulldozed over us. She hardly let us get a word In. She talked and talked without pause or opportunity to ask questions. When the rare opportunity did arise where my child or I had the space to speak, she did not ask clarifying or follow up questions so her answers to what she thought she heard was not as relevant as It should have warranted for all the time she took to say it. She gave advice we didn't ask for, and treated me mostly like I wasn't in the room which my child was uncomfortable with. We also didn't get to be involved in the medication decision, at all: she gave us no options, she just told us what we were going to do. We both have a history of trauma and this Dr.'s personality had us feeling like we didn't have a voice that mattered. We would not see her again or recommend her to anyone unless they are looking for a Dr. Who will dominate them.
