I thought it was odd that I was told it "just had bad allergies" but was given an antibiotic which was part of a family of medicine I am allergic too. While my options are limited there was no follow up to asking what typically happens. I was just told go to Walgreens and get medicine. Even the pharmacist alerted me to a potential allergic reaction to my history..i was not provided a steroid to help and my records would have shown this. I am not coughing a lot.up or having difficulty with coughing muscus up. I will likely be back at the Dr's because the treatment provided wasn't enough to get the mucus out of my lungs. I am on day 5 of medicine and not coughing up near as much as I should be or struggling to cough of the thick mucus. I felt I was treated like get in and get out without concern...and let me do a little as possible.
