“Dr said my suspected perianal ab...”

Dr said my suspected perianal abscess was not a perianal abscess so I was very relieved. He didn't however address the irregularity of what I thought was the perianal abscess. He said there was nothing wrong. So I am still having discomfort and no resolution to the actual problem. So although I thought Its good news, I am still not feeling comfortable with the large sometimes painful bump around my anus.

“On my previous visit, the doctor...”

On my previous visit, the doctor said I had two options. Do nothing or hemorrhoid banding. I opted for the banding procedure. When I arrived yesterday, after my third rectal exam, the doctor said surgery would be my best option. This was not the information I was given previously.
