Dr. Rosen appreciated that I'd had this type of situation before and we were able to discuss needs, risks and solutions thoroughly, yet promptly. I have taught communication skills in many nations and so appreciated that he stopped, looked me in the eye and, instead of asking, "Do you have any questions," instead asked, "What questions do you have for me?" He assumed I'd have questions rather than shut them down.
