I have had an experience with Dr. Ciaglia and his staff that has exceeded my expectations. His staff is personable and courteous and were able to schedule my visits quickly. Dr. Ciaglia is a leader in his field and it shows during my office visits. After surgery (when most doctors seem to stop caring) I was made to feel just as cared for and all of my concerns were addressed. Very pleasant experience overall.

Dr. Mark Cialgia is a remarkably talented surgeon. I had numbness and tingling in both arms and had to have surgery on both arms within 6 months of each other. He went through all the options with me and surgery was the best decision. The results were exactly what he explained and everything I hoped for. His bedside manner and professionalism were superb. From the start, we knew Dr. Ciaglia was different. I broke my wrist late Friday evening. His name was provided by the ER staff.

My husband left a phone message at Dr. Ciaglia's office that Saturday morning. To our surprise, Dr. Ciaglia himself returned our call and told us to come in on Monday morning.

He performed surgery on my broken wrist, and I regained almost 100% of my use of wrist. Very professional staff and great working atmosphere.

This is the second of two hand surgeries for thumb pain (one on each hand), and the results have been wonderful. Pain-free on the left hand, and smooth recovery so far on the right after one week.

“Wonderful! Very willing to listen and explain”

Love Dr. Ciaglia! He was my 2nd choice after my first doctor failed to take time in my appointment to answer all my questions and listen to my concerns. Totally not the experience here. I felt like Dr. Ciaglia was willing to take all the time needed to listen to me and explain in detail everything I needed. And the surgery went fantastic!! Almost all back to normal, and it's only 4 months after the surgery! Cannot thank him enough!

“Arrogant MD”

Made my first appt to see Mark A. Ciaglia M.D. about joint fluid leaking from my finger. I asked he he could fix it using a hand block and he said no I require. General Anesthesia and I said that I didn’t want to be complete put under for a finger. He was very arrogant and said well this isnt the 1930s anymore and anesthesia is safe. So that ended the conversation on his side. I could tell he was done with me a a patient so I left. General anesthesia is still a risk with my life.

“Trust in Decision Making and Accurate Diag”

Great experience. Would have checked 5 stars on trust but we have only spent a few minutes with him. We can make that decision later.
And, as far as Accurate Diagnosis, we are not doctors, so we are trusting his abilities.
These could be updated after surgery. :-)

“I couldn't imagine better support”

Dr Ciaglia is clearly an industry leading expert, he performed two surgeries on my hand and due to the complications he did a lot of the post surgery wound care himself. Once we diagnosed I was diabetic and got it under control everything healed quickly as Dr Ciaglia had explained. Although it was a difficult time for me personally I never felt like I was on my own. All the staff deserve huge credit, everyone took care of me exceptionally well, I will miss visiting the office. Exceptional care.

I was a bit nervous about the surgery i needed for my wrist, until someone recommended Dr. Ciaglia. Great recommendation. What i love about the office is everyone from front office to Dr. are all patient focused and spend the time to listen to all your concerns and do not dismiss you because you have simple issues. Dr. Ciaglia and his staff were above and beyond what I have experienced in the past concerning all aspects of seeing a specialist. Time waiting was under 10 minutes every appointment, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly and Dr. Ciaglia's surgery skills were perfection. I have the use of my right thumb without pain for the first time in 4 years. I will be back for left thumb surgery when necessary.
