The mission of Urology Specialists is to be the region’s premier urological care team by providing comprehensive, compassionate, patient-centered care through dedicated staff, highly trained medical providers, and state-of-the-art technology.
Our practice was founded in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, in 1951 by James H. Hoskins, MD. Dr. Hoskins had a private practice until 1969 when his son, John H. Hoskins, MD, returned from his tour of duty in Vietnam and joined his father in practice. In 1970, James H. Hoskins retired. John H. Hoskins retired in April 1997. The practice incorporated in 1972 and adopted our present name: Urology Specialists.
