UofL Health – Medical Center Southend is now an American College of Radiology (ACR) accredited facility in MRI, Ultrasound, CT and CT lung screening. Being an accredited facility, the outpatient diagnostic center houses state-of-the-art medical imaging technology and provides the highest quality of patient care and operations performed at an elite level. As this center is part of UofL Physicians, pricing for certain procedures may be offered at lower costs as opposed to hospital-based imaging. For some patients, this provides an affordable option for less-acute diagnostic and imaging needs.
