Lakewood’s Emergency Department provides residents of Eastern Jackson County with round –the- clock access to care. The 20-bed emergency center treats more than 30,000 patients annually for a range of issues from minor medical emergencies to life-threatening conditions. Express ED, a quick- access emergency service, provides access to physicians, nurse practitioners, and additional specialty services not available from a typical urgent care center, in an hour or less. Express ED is available Monday through Friday, 11 am-7 pm.
