UF Health offers state of the art infusion services with highly trained nurses, pharmacists, and physicians.
Outpatient intravenous therapy can be an effective means of preventing hospitalization in a safe environment. The UF Health Infusion Center is appointed with comfortable reclining chairs and televisions. Medical coverage is provided throughout the day by the UF Health Physicians Hematology/Oncology group, located next door to the Infusion Center. We offer infusion services for the following:
Chemotherapy and supportive care for cancer patients
IV antibiotics
Pain management for those in sickle cell crisis
Factor infusions
Maintenance care for many autoimmune, gastroenterological, kidney, and metabolic disorders
Maintenance care for gout
Therapeutic phlebotomies
Blood product transfusions
Subcutaneous and intramuscular injections
