In 1947, Queen Emma Clinics, a division of The Queen's Medical Center, was founded to provide general outpatient healthcare and specialized medical services for anyone who was unable to pay for care. Today, about 10 percent of the Queen Emma Clinics' patients have commercial insurance, but most are covered under the state's Med-Quest program, Medicare, Medicaid, or are uninsured. If you or a family member come to us for care, you will warmly be welcomed into our 'ohana, regardless of your ability to pay.
