Ryan Gillihan, MD, is a board-certified general dermatologist. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of the full spectrum of skin conditions in patients of all ages. He provides expert care in managing acute and chronic skin disorders, performing skin cancer screenings, and addressing a wide variety of general skin concerns with a patient-focused approach.
Dr. Gillihan earned his undergraduate degree at Missouri State University before attending the University of Kansas Medical School. He then completed his dermatology residency at the University of Florida, where he honed his skills in comprehensive dermatologic care. His commitment to staying updated with the latest medical advances ensures his patients receive cutting-edge, evidence-based treatments tailored to their unique needs.
Dr. Gillihan’s wife, Dr. Jesalyn Tate, is a talented Mohs surgeon in the same department, specializing in treating and reconstructing skin cancers. Together, they are passionate about providing collaborative, high-quality dermatologic care.
When he is not in clinic, Dr. Gillihan enjoys spending time with his two children, playing with their family dog, engaging in outdoor activities such as hiking, and exploring local parks. These personal experiences shape his holistic approach to patient care, emphasizing the importance of wellness in all aspects of life.
