“She hasn't forgotten she's human ”
Dr. Wakily gave me the best 75th birthday I could ask for. After 2 long years in and out of Doctors, hospitals and treatments. I came across Dr. Wakily after ending up in the ER and being admitted again. She sat to listen when no others would or should I say they didn't do anything but sit! After 2 weeks of no food or water just an I.V., Dr. Wakily was the one who kept surgery on the table. When they were ready to discharge me. She gave me the option to stay for surgery the next morning. Dr. Wakily knew that this was more than simple Gall Bladder surgery. When she looked at me she did so knowing I am a mother, grandma and great grandmother as she has one, I am a sister as she is one, am human no different than her. Dr.Wakily gave me step by step comfort. She made me laugh and smile even though I was in my own thoughts. As it turns out she had been correct, my Gallbladder was more than double in size with stones in golf ball + size and could have ruptured at any time. As my daughter waited 5 1/2+ hours through my surgery she felt I was in good hands. I believe if I had gone home and waited 3 weeks to return I would not have made it more than a few days nor my 75th birthday.
Thanks to Dr. Wakily's phenomenal human intuition and outstanding Medical intelligence. The greatest gift my 75th birthday with my family full of life!

I had the best treatment! My surgery was fast and I was home the same day! Considering that an hospital is the last place you want to be! The staff is very nice and have a lot of patience .. Thank you all team members of EMU Surgical Center
