Providing Quality Health Care for the Whole Family Since 2001
The current approach to health care used in my Chinese medicine and acupuncture practice in Longmont incorporates education, life experience, volunteer work, and most of all, the endless and inspiring education received from clients.
Depending upon the health concern, most treatment sessions begin with Shiatsu, a Japanese style of massage. In order to enhance treatment and educate clients, I will also follow up by sharing simple, passive exercises targeted for the individual so that maintenance can be followed through at home. Acupuncture itself serves to regulate the system, and Chinese herbal medicine and dietary recommendations can be used to further regulate and support.
The completion of a health history with the initial treatment assists in giving clients a thorough visit, as people are seen as a whole person rather than a symptom. My approach of seeing people for who they are rather than a series of symptoms comes not only from direct Chinese medical training, but also from life experience and early volunteer work. I am truly passionate about this work and enjoy working with people toward a common goal.
