Cancer Services
St. Michael Cancer Center is home to St. Joseph Medical Center Hematology and Oncology - Silverdale and St. Joseph Medical Center Infusion - Silverdale, where you'll find a full range of cancer services - from prevention and screening to diagnostics, treatment and survivorship. And with our expansive navigator program, including specialty nurse navigators, you'll always have someone to help you find your way, answer your questions and listen to your concerns.

Our physicians are board certified and have special training and expertise in treating cancer. Board certification means that your physician has shown outstanding expertise and commitment to their medical specialty and has undergone extensive training.

Clinical trials
Virginia Mason Franciscan Health providers at St. Michael participate in research and clinical trials as members of major cancer research cooperatives funded by the National Cancer Institute. We are actively seeking patients for our ongoing trials.
The benefits of joining a trial include:
- Gaining access to leading-edge treatments that are not yet widely available
- Helping to advance medical science, which will benefit future cancer patients
- Participating in research studies for cancer prevention, cancer control and quality of life
