Boston Children’s Hospital’s Sports Behavioral Health Clinic provides specialized mental health support for young athletes coping with the emotional and psychological challenges related to sports participation, injury, recovery, and performance. Our multidisciplinary team of psychologists, sports medicine physicians, and mental health specialists works closely with athletes, families, and care teams to address concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, performance pressure, identity challenges, and adjustment after injury or surgery. Through evidence-based therapy, individualized treatment plans, and close collaboration with orthopedic and sports medicine programs, we help athletes build resilience, improve emotional well-being, and safely return to the activities they love. With compassionate, family-centered care tailored specifically to the needs of student-athletes, the clinic supports both mental wellness and athletic success.
