“Dishonest and Unprofessional”
We went to Michigan Foot and Ankle in Milford, MI to treat my daughter's wart. Dr. Tara Stock advised us that she had a wart and we would need to come back for several sessions. I expressed concern at the cost ($50.00 co-pay per specialist visit.) Dr. Stock told me that I would only have one co-pay since the wart would be treated as one procedure. We paid the $50.00 we were billed for the first visit. We then came back 5 more times. We were never told to pay another co-pay. A month later we were billed $250.00. Dr. Stock refused to speak to me regarding the bill and claimed through an office staff member that she didn't remember telling me anything. I tried repeatedly to speak with her and never received a return phone call. I sent a letter to Dr. Harvey Lefkowitz and Dr. Stock relaying the conversation that occurred regarding the billing. I never received a reply. Nearly a year later I find that they have sent my bill to collections. I couldn't be more disappointed in their lack of professionalism and honesty.
