My regular dermatologist highly recommended Dr. Bruder for my post-menopausal, general hair loss, which was becoming worse by the day. Making an appointment to see Dr. Bruder was easy, and his staff in his cool SoHo office is lovely. Before making any recommendations, he ordered thorough lab work and performed a painless scalp biopsy. The good news . . . nothing alarming! Just typical hair loss for a woman my age, but more than was acceptable to me (and thankfully, not acceptable to him!). He suggested what I could do on my own, as well as suggesting a low dose of Minoxidil. I have tolerated the drug with no side effects whatsoever, and my hair loss has decreased dramatically! And how exciting to see short little hairs making their way out of my scalp! Dr. Bruder is a kind, compassionate, and highly knowledgeable physician. Before you count one more hair on your pillow, make an appointment to see him!
