“Life-Changing Help”

Shar Kunovsky helped me through an experience that was sad and difficult. I regularly finished sessions thinking, "How could I not have realized that about myself?" She is kind, caring, and insightful. She wants you to succeed and flourish in life. I don't know what I'd do without her. (And I'm succeeding and flourishing very well.)

“Finally Hope”

After years of severe depression I was able to work through and understand many lifelong issues. Shar listened, and then gave me tools to deal with life. I had spent years in therapy with several different counselors and felt like all they did was sit back listened, but gave me no tools to help me cope.
Shari's proactive approach gave me the power to change my circumstance and regain my life and my happiness.

“Great therapist!”

I've been seeing Shar for over 6 years now. She has a coaching style and is very open and non judgmental. She will give me her professional and personal opinion if I ask which I find very helpful. She knows a lot about people and what makes them tick. She has a lot of expertise in teaching DBT and mindfulness. I have also done EMDR with her which lessened my pain from a traumatic experience. She has given me a lot of comfort, understanding and advice over the years.
She's a gem.
