At the start, I was a little bit skeptical about whether or not the procedure would be worth it. However, after a few pre-surgery appointments, I was ready to give a try. Following the surgery, the scar is unbelievable, I can barely see it and I am no longer concerned with how it looks. Following the procedure, I was well looked after and the treatment I received in the following months ensured that I will never have to worry about the scar again.

My issue was related to a basal cell carcinoma on my face below my lip. as a woman I was naturally worried and concerned about the end result. Upon meeting Dr.Schmid I truly expected to hear part of my lip would be lost. He first wanted to know about ME and showed how compassionate he is as an individual. He explained in simple terms how he would suture the wound, how he expected it to heal, I left his office feeling surprisingly calm and confident. He was efficient yet friendly throughout the surgery and it seemed to be over quickly. It was startling to see the sutures but I can honestly say the scar is only visible with close scrutiny and I still have my bottom lip! I am SO happy Dr Schmid performed the surgery because I still look like me. I highly recommend him for not only his surgical skills but the person he is.
