“If you value your time and your child do not see this person.”
We went to dr Jones with great hope that she could help our daughter. There are three main issues we had with her professionalism or lack of professionalism.
1. For all our appointments she was 1 hour to 45 minutes late. My husband is active duty Air Force and he sat waiting an hour for our initial
appointment. We thought this may have been a fluke so we returned and the same thing happened. There was no apology for this wait and on our second appointment we we her first of the day.
2. As active duty military we are on a slim budget, we had to pay up front out of pocket and were assured by her staff we would be reimbursed. Upon calling Tricare they informed us they only reimbursed 50%. This fact was of course not disclosed by her staff even when I asked if they reimbursed the full amount. Her staff was kind but did gloss over it saying she had never heard of any reimbursement problems.
3. My daughter did not get any help which was the most important thing. She pulled out books and referenced them during our appointment and her suggestions were ideas you can read anywhere on the Internet.
This is an honest review written from a disappointed family who hopes this will help others save their time and money. It is hard enough pulling your child out of school to work out some issues but to gain nothing and have your child leave with the impression something is wrong with her is the biggest price we have paid.
We have seen other psychologists as we move every 2-5years and we have had great experiences.
If you are military, don't use your valuable time to see Rosemary Jones. You will be waiting a long time for unhelpful appointments and if you are lucky you will only be reimbursed 50% of what you paid.
