Over 12 years, Dr. Vine has been careful in his diagnosis which is positive. His lack of personal interaction and a hint of defensiveness when slightly criticized is a problem. But I am not seeing a doctor to make friends but value a doctor's devotion to the profession more.

I cannot find anywhere else to put this and I am not sure who I should direct this to but when I was in the office yesterday and had my blood drawn it was the worst experience I have ever had having blood drawn. It was not the normal technician Mimi who is always bubbly and sweet. The lady that was there did not even speak to me she definitely didn’t follow anything Hippa and confirm my birthday however I can get past all that. When she walked up to me I thought she said how are you but she said which arm which is the only thing she said to me the entire time I was there. She then poked me very hard and when did not get a vein just moved the needle around while I said ouch She then still did not say anything just pulled out the needle and wrapped up that arm and And went to the other arm. Not a word about how she didn’t get the vein or hurt me. She was able to get it with the other arm. It is worth mentioning I am never difficult to find a vein.

Dr Vine is the most thorough Doctor I know and, sometimes to a fault, it might delay others but in the end that’s what’s needed in medicine. He’s fantastic and will be missed!

Dr Kesghi has a great beside manner and I decided to see her because my mother is her paitent as well. She helped rule out many illnesses that could be causing my symptoms. She explained my diagnosis of osteoarthritis & where it is located. I was told to take calcium in food form only due to the risk of plaque buildup in my heart since I am a type 1 diabetic. She explained that the issue with my autoimmune response and low gamma globulin levels needs to be addressed by an Infectious Disease specialist which is my next step. She also explained which over the counter or prescription pain medications I shouldn't take to not harm my Kidneys and told me what to take instead. The only criticism I would give which isn't her fault my 1st visit they couldn't draw blood which I'm used to so they gave me the lab sheet to take to Quest. Unfortunately Quest couldn't do the labs because there was no coding on the different types of tests needed. My primary care was able to help and sent the results.

Just a lack of detail/compassion/personal focus

Have had RA for 47 years. Have had many rheumatologists, due to insurance changes, I always felt cared for and listened too and KNOWN. Not the same experience here.

The fact my rheumatologist, who treats my RA and Osteo arthritis, will not prescribe pain medication to relieve my constant pain and obvious inflammation, and assist in my getting sleep at night, is difficult to accept. Even my, GP told me Dr. K should be the one who prescribes since she is the one who treats.
I realize the issues facing our society with the Opioid crisis, but that should not hinder a doctor from prescribing a necessary medication to a responsible patient.
Another example of the lack of personal care received.
Again, I respect and trust Dr. Kheshgi, but overa not thrilled or raving

The doctor examined me ordered diagnostic testing and blood test. Once these results were in my doctor gave me a diagnosis and indicated no prescriptions or treatments were warranted. I am relieved that I don’t have to take prescription medication and no follow up appointment was required

I went for an exam to check for autoimmune disease as two close relatives have died from it. She took her time and was very thorough in taking my history and ordered tests for me. She even ordered X-rays of my knee and hip because I had tripped and hurt my leg and she was sending me for X-rays anyway. Waiting for follow up.
